hey guys

well as im still noob as ever got some new issue i hope you can shed light on it

i start new 5 gallon beer batch.
first 2 days was normally bubbles and everything looks ok
on 3rd day it still bubbling like hell on earth. however without i touch anything or airlock comming out smell from airluck is very sour yogurt smell. checked the airluck it still seems intact.

on day for it smell less yoguartish however i can smell it little bit.
i just brewed with regular liquid malt extract!
so whats with yogurt smell!

is it turn bad or something?! should i dump it?

RDWHAHB. Fermentation smells funny sometimes. Just let the yeast do their thing, and taste a hydrometer sample in a couple weeks.

thanks jon for quick reply,

and yeah no kidding passed 2 days i was what the heck where those naughty yeast put their hand on milk and turned it to yogurt!

i post when they are finished farting CO2 and smelly sour yogurt!

hmm ok update well it seems everything stopped!
no bubble on airlock i can see small co2 bubble inside and its look like beer+yogurt mix rofl!

probably too many yeast still flowing around.

gonna wait for a week see will happens next!

Yeah, until the krausen falls, it's going to look like a real mess. From what you have said, i would say everything is going well with your fermentation.

ok new update after 2 days of yogurt farting yeasties, it stop i thought its done thou wort were so cloudy like beer+yogurt mix!

then after 3 days now it restart fermenting like crazy :cross:

lol its weirdest brewing ive ever seen :p
