i am a highly accomplished brewer by now. i've always prepared for a brew and done it carefully but i find it to be fairly forgiving. i've only had one or two batches that distinctly "failed" but they were far between and surrounded by many many many successes. ive been getting into cheesemaking lately using my knowledge of sanitization and methods. i'm failing terribly at it, each time due to minor faults. im about to give up on it. just wanted to say im amazed at how i am a great brewer but almost inexplicably terrible at making cheese.
