Does anyone know the alcohol % tolerance of wyeast 1335 British Ale II yeast? I know this is a really specific question, but I couldn't find an answer on the wyeast web page.
Up next: Big Brew Off competition between me and Kaptain Karma as one team, and my two roommates as another--We'll be brewing Pale Ales with specifications on malts, hops, and total yeild to see who's version is better (and to end up with ten total gallons of great beer).

Primary: Grampa's Woodshed Apple Smoked Porter
Secondary: Zombiefoot California Common, Chocolate Strong Porter
Drinking: Seamus O'Drunkagan Irish Red, Humble Pie Imperial Stout, Capricorn IPA

You may wanna check the website. Their last issues was all about yeast strains, but I don't remember what all stats they provided. It may at least point you in the right direction to finding your answer.

I can't find the info either, but I've found that any yeast that doesn't claim to be a high ABV yeast dies around 6.5-7%. If there are specific characteristics of this yeat you want for a heavier ale, just pitch a neutral white wine yeast after the bubbling slows.
