Some great cars....but has anyone ever heard of Vanishing Point?



And seen the new Dodge Challenger??

early 70's TA's kick ass. I think you could still get the 455 at that time.

We had a family station wagon that had a 455. I know for a fact that it would go 125 mph. I can't imagine how fast it would have been in a car with 5000 less #. (7-14 MPG) what a hog

The 60's USA ruled the market, Mustangs, GTO's, T-Birds, Chevelle SS, Cuda's, Corvettes, . . . they were bad times and great times . . .nothing like the sixties

My junior & senior year of high school, I drove a '64 Chevy Impala SS exactly like the one pictured here

I owned a 1970 Buick Electra 225............455cubes under the hood, Rochester Quadrajet carb that I rebuilt on the kitchen table........ran on premium gas........would throw you back into your seat like several g's of acceleration. I had it up to 110 mph when I chickened out. What a sweet ride that still got over 20 miles to a gallon of gas if you drove it sensibly.
