Happy to say that the double ipa is now in the bottle, but learned that starsan foam will freeze solid into a frosty lace. If I never have to bottle in an unheated garage in 20F weather, I will be a happy man. Sheesh, the things I will do to make sure my next brew day can happen!

We brewed outdoors yesterday (brought in the kettle during the mash) so I feel you pain. We lost power for most of the afternoon/evening and had to bottle and finish the brew by headlamp. We've been talking about putting an electric system together by propane saved the day for us on Saturday.

Go back to kegging, you won't have that problem! Kidding!
That doesn't sound fun at all...

Why did you ditch kegging anyway?
