Everything i am reading suggests using priming sugar or dry malt extract. Is there a problem with using liquid malt extract? I know that dry malt extract is a little higher concentration (i think) so if that is accounted for can liquid be used? If so anyone have a general amount of liquid to be used for a 5 gallon batch? Thanks.
I think the weight for DME is 1.25 cups so you would need to determine 20% more and add this to some water, heat it up and bottle as usual. It will take longer for extract to carb though so keeep that in mind.
