HAHA!!! I begged my first wife to take a well deserved day off with me...play hookie...well, she did. She went into work the next day and was offered a raise because they thought she was out job hunting...

They fired my Director on Friday. Then I had a meeting with the VP and CIO. They asked me to rethink leaving over the weekend, and I have follow up meetings on Monday morning. Friday was an odd day.

wow! sounds like plenty of turmoil.

My last job was nuts with drama and interpersonal conflict. My current position is at an organization that is a total 180 and I walk into work every day with a totally different outlook and appreciation for my job.
