I'm about to start a wine kit from RJ Spagnols. It is one of their port wine specialty kits which makes 3 gallons. I've made a bunch of regular kits and they usually end up at about 11-12%. I'd like the port wine at about 15-16%. The only info I could find indicated a final ABV of 10% if made according to instructions. Any thoughts on how I can kick this up from 10%? I've used corn sugar in the past on other kits - 2 pounds usually kicks 6 gallons up about 2%. Alternatively, I'm thinking of adding some 100 proof vodka. Any thoughts?
