Just picked up a sixer of this for the first time; have to say I really like it. It's a red IPA, and has a great hop aroma (Magnum bitter; Citra, Simcoe, and Centennial). Has a bit more malty sweetness than SN Torpedo that balances well with the hops. I wouldn't say I like it better than Torpedo, it's just different and very refreshing.
 
Love this one to. Wish they had it year round. Probably my fave rye beer.

Love flipside. Got to attend the release party up in Chico unexpectedly, that is interesting that you find it sweeter than torpedo. I cannot stand torpedo because of the sweetness. Just my opinion, Flipside though I do agree that it is sweet and it does balance real well with their hop line-up. Another good IPA I tried just recently was SA rebel ipa.
