Hello fellow brewmaster, I need to work on my beard
Down fall is my beard is more like a sack glued on my chin :/ and neck beard grows faster then real beard

Need tips on growing a real man beard not a little boy beard :p

Thanks guys

I'm not sure you can alter genetics. Just be patient.

This may be my only option, how long like ughh I just don't even understand this. I see other dudes my age, no problem growing a full beard and I got like this geeky looking beard thing growing on my chin

Just use yellow yarn

My beard is awesome and I can wear it in many styles, as long as my mustache connects to the beard. (I shave everything under my jawline)

I can't wear just a mustache. I grow a molester mustache.

Facial hair chart for every man. Pick yours.

There's only one way to grow a beard. Just grow it. Don't mess with shaving, trimming, etc. just grow. A real man doesn't shave parts of his beard. Let it grow untouched, ungroomed like a true man.

So, the thing about shaving and hair growing in thicker, which I'm sure you have heard. (Or read, because it might have been mentioned in one of the above links, for all I know.) Anyway, shaving doesn't make hair grow in thicker. It gives an illusion of thicker hair, because hair has a fine point on the end. When you cut it bu shaving, you blunt that end, which makes the end look thicker.

As far as a how-to? Flocc if I know, my beard just happened on it's own.

I love HBT!
A 4-year-old thread on beard growing gets brought back to life.

And yes, I have a goatee (van dyke in the above hilarious chart).

I also can't grow a beard for crap. And have friends that grow luxurious monster beards of glory.

So I don't try. Sometimes quitting is fine.

Wife hates mine, I grow it for hunting season. I let it go from end of aug thru feb and refuse to trim it! Lol! It gets full quick
