I could drink these all day. Columbus and centennial hops play very well in this beer. Fantastic balance of chocolate, toffee, nutty, slight hoppy, and roast.

Complex! Carmel, chocolate, citrus and floral hops, slight roast. Excellent head and retention. Great mouthfeel. A+ beer.

How does this compare to dogfish Indian brown? Love that beer.

From side by side comparison I'd say its more bold and complex. Perfect balance between hops and malts. Not over the top hoppy but definitely more so than an average brown. Great hop taste from the last minute additions and good aroma from the dry hop. The dank earthiness and citrus grapefruit of the hops paired with he chocolate, caramel, and roast of the malts makes this a very multidimensional brew. And just wait until it warms a bit, whole new ball game. DFH is a touch thin where as the Mauthe Doog has a bit more body from the oats. Thanks for your inquiry!

P.S. I really don't like to review my own beers since i feel like its a bit bias, these were notes given by friends at a recent tasting. I do however feel it is a very good beer, maybe one of the best I've ever made, and I will be brewing it again very soon. (Mostly due to popular demand lol)
