So what's the deal with putting bottles of homebrew into checked luggage? I'm flying tomorrow and want to take some with me for some friends. Do the airlines have any problems with it in the checked baggage?

The last time I was on a plane I was 16 (now 33) and I carried a case of beer bottles on the plane with me. Boy has times changed.

When I came home from japan, I brought four bottles of wine and one bottle of sake with me in my checked bags. They were surronded by towels.
