Tasting Notes
Easy drinking session with a noticeable fruitiness and refreshing bitterness.
Grist:
7lbs Maris Otter
12 oz. Crystal 40L

Mash 1.25 qt/lb. at 148 deg F for 75 minutes.

Hop additions:
60 minutes: 1/2 oz. East Kent Goldings (7.2)
40 minutes: 1/2 oz. East Kent Goldings (7.2)
20 minutes: 1/2 oz. East Kent Goldings (7.2)

Irish Moss

This is a very easy beer to make, and dangerously easy to drink. It goes down quite easy and has a nice bitterness level with a pleasant light fruitiness. Malt and yeast qualities dominate the nose, with little to no noticeable hop aroma. The aftertaste is clean and refreshing. This is one of those "you can't have just one" beers.
