I am working on my home brew stand and picked up a couple 10" banjo burners. I am getting ready to mount them and I am wondering what height I should mount them at. Can anyone tell me what the ideal height is from the bottom of the kettle to the top of the burner?

My Blichmann burners use the same burner and from the tip of the nozzles to the top of the pot rests is 2.75". If you're using flat bottom kettles I don't think you could go wrong with the same spacing, but if you're using keggles, make the distance something closer to 4"...

Cheers!

I would also consider installing a windscreen as well, for those windy days, unless you will be using it in the garage!
