I got this, the double pretentous beer drinker's glass for mixing the perfect black and tan. In the trial run, I mixed a Goose Island BCBS with a freshly carbonated batch of my house pale ale. Frigging delicious.

So, what did you get?

We are going to start all grain brewing, so I got a wort chiller and a propane burner, but the guy ordered the wrong burner. I'll replace it with the jet burner that we wanted. Now we just have to get the rest of the gear...
I got a book, The Complete Beer Course.

My wife got me the "Water" book and Drew Beechum's cider book. My parents got me a sign about beer spraying out the nose. My kids didn't get me anything beer related. I simply MUST have a chat with them!
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. - C. S. Lewis, English essayist & juvenile novelist (1898 - 1963)

The Thermapen that was supposed to make it before Christmas was just handed to me by my wife.

Oh, and my MW102 pH meter is still on the way.
