Default Apfelwein Yeast Cake

I'm getting ready to keg and bottle an apfelwein that has been in primary for 11 weeks. I'd like to use the yeast cake for a batch of skeeter pee. Is this yeast cake too old? Are there enough viable yeast cells to do the job?
