Does your adjustable switch for your fan work? I've tried two now and both only worked on high speed.

I can't QUITE tell you if it works or not yet, I haven't run the main 120v wire into my breaker panel yet. Only my 240v is active, I'll let you know what I find-- but I did buy this one specifically, is this the one you tried?

I bought two from lowes that were the same brand but not specifically that one. Disappointed on both. One made the fan hum on lower speeds but that was it.

If that switch does not work you may have to get one like this that is made for those vortex hydroponic fans.

I picked up an offbrand vortex, so unfortunately, it wouldn't be a one-to-one comparison in this case. But I'll let you know what I find:

If anyone came across an inline duct fan with a square housing that is pretty quiet, I'd love to hear it. I need one for my bathroom!
