Default Baltic porter with steam beer yeast?

I'm thinking about making a Baltic Porter (I want to pitch onto my California Lager yeast cake), is a baltic porter recipe generally the same as other porters, but with the lager yeast? It looks like some people use a lot of Munich malt also.

I think they are different recipes. I really like Baltic porter...more than any other porter. I think it is an excellent beer to re-pitch with California lager yeast. Sorry, nothing helpful

A Baltic porter is just about a whole different animal to the other porters, but California Lager yeast is great for it.

A Baltic Porter often has the malt flavors reminiscent of an English brown porter and the restrained roast of a schwarzbier, but with a higher OG and alcohol content than either. Very complex, with multi-layered flavors.
