Would it be worth buying bug county of I know it will freeze while shipping?

A friend of mine did a mild with their British mild strain and clearly had a brett infection. The odds that he introduced the infection are pretty low, we're thinking it was in the vial itself. He didn't hear anything back when inquiring about it.

So, beware.

Any chance of scoring a washed culture of this? Wouldn't the post fermentation ratio of organisms be way off though? Anyway, I would love to get some, but probably way too late.
