Default How cool is too cool when fermenting?

Wondering if my attached garage is too cool (we're in Canada) to ferment cider in...

with a lager yeast, 45 is probably too cool. with an ale yeast, 60 is probably too cool

Look up your yeast strain's fermentation temperature range and you'll have a good idea of what's too cool.
