I did an extract brew and got a weird 1.2 og. I assumed it was becaused of dissolved hop pellets giving me a weird reading but I filtered some out and still got it. I did the test at 80 degrees.
Here's the extract bill
4oz maltodex
16oz honey (f/o)
3lbs sorghum (f/o)
2lbs d90
16oz coffee
2lbs toasted oats (steeped)

Brewtoad said it should have been 1.06 for og. Wtf?

I would check your hydrometer with water at room temp and see if you get 1.000

Yeah. Thats crazy. I didn't even know most hydrometers went to 1.200. I would calibrate it. Hops shouldn't effect gravity. Hydrometers measure dissolved solids not debris.
