Hi All,
I've been making my own cider from home using already pressed cider from a local mill...which is getting very expensive. All of my friends and family love it so I'm looking to ramp up production a bit in the upcoming months. Can anyone tell me where I can find a commercial cider press in the USA similar to this one: http://www.vigoltd.com/Catalogue/App...P1-bed-presses
Vigo does not ship to US addresses and I've searched google using every variation of the term 'commercial-cider-fruit-apple-press-hydraulic etc'. To date I have not found anything else like what was shown in the link above. I did find one company called 'Goodnature' that had something remotely similar...but they wanted $21,000 for it...which is a little bit more than I'd like to spend on my hobby/side job. Any info would be incredibly appreciated!

Did you do industrial cider press?

Edit: Check the voltage requirements too I doubt these machines run on 120v.

Not the same as what you asked for but these guys have a lot of different options.

The Vigo one is similar to a goodnature roadsider from a while back but I don't think you can get them any more and like you said a lot of whats out there is pretty expensive.

If your crafty you can build a similar model from a harbor freight 20 ton shop press. You can spec it out for single or double bed if you get some additions welded up and with a hydraulic jack you can get a pretty decent throughput out of them.

The alternative is a hydropress, they don't quite give the same yield but are very easy to use.
