Default Composting Muslin Bags

I wasn't sure where else to post this, but I figured people who grow hops are the people who garden and they would have some insight.

Are those Muslin grain bags you get from Northern Brewer compostable?

fwiw, 100% muslin fabric is generally accepted as compostable, but it will probably take a direct contact with NB to verify there's nothing added to their bag fabric that would defeat that quality...

Cheers!

Just to give an update. NB said the bags are safe to compost but may take some time, I had a really hot pile going and parts were starting to break down in about two weeks so were good!
