So here is my tap water report I just got back from Ward Labs. If anyone lives in the Baltimore area and wants to use this, I should note that this is from the 21236 area code, and I believe is from the Loch Raven reservoir.

I've downloaded Brun Water, but I haven't messed around with it yet.

I'm curious what you experts think about it in general (?).

My next batch that I will be brewing this weekend is going to be a Pale Ale, so I'll have to check-out Brun Water and figure out what adjustments to make.

pH 8.1
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) Est, ppm -- 180
Electrical Conductivity, mmho/cm -- 0.30
Cations / Anions, me/L -- 2.6 / 2.8

Sodium, Na -- 14
Potassium, K -- 2
Calcium, Ca -- 26
Magnesium, Mg -- 7
Total Hardness, CaCO3 -- 94
Nitrate, NO3-N -- 0.9 (SAFE)
Sulfate, SO4-S -- 6
Chloride, Cl -- 39
Carbonate, CO3 -- 6
Bicarbonate, HCO3 -- 66
Total Alkalinity, CaCO3 -- 65
Total Phosphorus, P -- < 0.01
Total Iron, Fe -- 0.01

That is decent starting point. Be sure to perform the chlorine or chloramine removal.

Yeah, I run it through a charcoal filter, then use campden.

This is typical of the area except that the chloride is a little high.
