Get a 20lb tank. About $100-$110 full from a welding supply store... you won't regret it.

I lucked out on craigslist. I ended up with a ten gallon all grain set up and a kegging setup with 3 cornies a 20 gallon air tank a bunch of books and odds and ends for 480 dollars.

rent the co2 tank. 3.00 month for 20#. lowers the start up costs to when you can afford it. a 20# can be very forgiving when your learning.

In order to do the whole kegging thing, I'll need the following (I think):

Corny Keg: ~$25
Regulator: ?
CO2 tank: ?
Tubes + connectors: ~$30?
Small fridge: ~$250?
Kegerator parts: ~$100?

Total: Tuition?

Am I way off?
No need to rant, you either want to do it or not. No one is forcing the issue. The ironical part is that after the $$$$ outlay, you'll still want to bottle some for friends and so on.........
