I bottle in Grolsch swing top bottles. I want to bottle pasteurize them. I am having a hard time finding a pot tall enough to accomodate the height of the bottles. Is is possible to pour 190 degree water into a 5 gallon bucket and then add the bottles and lid for the allotted time or would the bucket not be able to take the heat? I'm just looking for options.

I saw someone in here recommend using a cooler to pasteurize so you could so it in bulk. That is what I will be trying with my batch.

Perhaps one of those big metal buckets for putting a keg on ice? That or run them through the dishwasher.
