Pictures from my latest pumpkin ale. It's my first recipe of choosing my own ingredients without cloning another similar recipe.
5.5 lbs of pumpkin mix (mash/secondary), spices (boil/secondary)
flavored pumpkin syrup (secondary)
maple syrup (bottling)
vanilla extract (secondary).
It smells great so far, full of that pumpkin pie aroma. Im hoping the syrup at bottling will add any type of positive flavor to the final product.
