Default 1 pint or 1/2 pint?

What size mason jar is best for storing harvested yeast? 1 pint, 1/2 pint, or does it even matter?

A slurry contains about 1 billion cells per ml. Typically after pouring a slurry it will settle to have beer and half yeast. So a pint contains about 250 billion cells. When I had the space I used to store quarts, but now I just freeze 10ml tubes of hard to find yeast and make a starter.
