Sure, but they won't keep up with it. I'm at that age where a lot of friends are having their first kid, which limits that...another friend opened up a second restaurant and had to fire his head chef and take it over for himself, so he's doin 12-hour days until the end of the year...another has been having health issues and is running gluten-free to see if that's the culprit...some others are wine geeks, and don't drink as much beer as me...others are unchangeable BMC'ers.

Such is life...

So right now, most (not all) of my beer is consumed by me and the wife. I need to have another BBQ before it gets cold...that'd take care of some of it.

I've got a cool afternoon planned on Sunday. We're having 4 other families over and we're brewing 3 different beers. One of the guy is a long time extract brewer who hasn't brewed in a few years and the other three want to see what it's all about. I've got 5 different homebrews on tap/bottled to keep us wet while we're brewing, and we'll split up these beers when they're all bottled so everyone will get a sample of a few different styles.

The ladies are going to carve pumpkins with the kids and we're going to grill some kabobs for dinner when we're done brewing. Should be a great time. I'll take some pics and post them afterwards.

Here's what we're brewing.

10 gal EdWort's Haus Pale Ale (AG)
5 gal Hefeweizen (extract)
5 gal Doppelbock (extract)

Going to bottle some Notty Panty Dropping Cider. Then going to brew some pumpkin ale. It's dropped down into the 80's here so it should be a nice brewing weekend. Looking forward to it.

I've got EdWort's Haus Pale Ale planned, my first all-grain batch.

I just hope it isn't raining all day tomorrow, it's the 3rd day in a row for me.

I'd hate to have to buy a tarp.

A Rye IPA in the bottles tonight, then brew an American Wheat Saturday, while drinking a strong Ale. ahh, good times.
