Default Ticking barrell

Hi all
I have just barrelled a batch of lager (its a kit version,) the barrel it stands in is a 5 gallon pressure barrell, with a top on that u can squirt gas in when it goes flat. I barrelled the lager about 20 mins ago and its sat next to me in a nice warm place, however i can now here a clicking noise coming from the top of the barrell. Should i be worried about this? could the gas be escaping??

Thanks all

Chris, it'll probably be the safety valve releasing gas when it gets over operating pressure.
