Interesting. Does using those fresh apples like wood chunks actually impart an apple flavour to the meat and/or other food? Regards, GF.

That is an interesting question... How did this turn out? I know that people use left over corn cobs for smoking...

Sry yall, got busy this week. So yea, they smolder like crazy. Actually not as much apple flavor as I wouldve thought. It adds some steam to the smoke and I think it helped in keeping the meat moist. I have a chiken on now and revisiting this experiment.

I've used apple wood for smoking and that is tasty.
