So I've got this used reg I'm trying to get going. It's connected to a brand new full 5# tank. When I turn it on, co2 just pours out of that little hole you see on the right side there. What gives? I took the reg apart but everything looks fine - no broken gaskets or anything.

Try to raise the pressure with the middle screw that might seal it mine needs to be in a little bit or it does it too hope that helps

Either a seal is gone or a valve is busted:

Problem was neither of those.

Middle metal piece came loose somehow between the dude's house who picked it up for me, and my place. I smashed it back in with a hammer and screwdriver, lubed up the gaskets, expanded the springs a bit and she's working fine.

Cheers.
