Cool quote/sig!
I would like to get into making wine from scratch but with only one kit under my belt so far, and minimal free time right now, it'll be down the road a bit before I do this. I have also been hoping to find someone that makes their own (good, not crap) wines to kind of show me the ropes - not many relatives left, if any, that make wine anymore.

You do need to order in advance if you order from the beer and wine hobby shop down the road from you. But there are plenty of other places to get wine grapes. Not trying to bad mouth here. She isn't a fruit market and doesn't have the facilities to store them so that is why they are kind of militant about the "you must be here to pick the fruit up the day it arrives" thing. Still a good HBS and I trade wtih them whenever I get up that way, which doesn't happen as often as it should, given that my parents live in Wakefield.

You're welcome to come over when I play with the grapes. PM sent.

Got the PM, thanks for the invite! I'm really hoping I can free up my schedule to make it down there!
You brew, too?

I'll throw yeast on pretty much anything that stands still long enough.
