I've had a couple of beers that seem to have a sherry flavour to them. I've read a little about oak chips and I'm wondering if anyone has used oak chips soaked in sherry in their beer.
If so, how did you use them? IE what quantities of chips and sherry, how long did you soak for, when and to what did you add them etc?
I'm not really into sherry so if I give this a try what should I look for as far as different styles, quality, brand etc?
I see your Krausen is as big as mine!
