I am interested in getting a subscription to one of these magaines. Which magazine do you guys all prefer and why? And of course if there are better homebrew mags out there you like better than the two I mentioned, please let me know!

That's the two main ones. If you can afford it, I'd honestly recommend getting both. Zymurgy does focus more on events, but still has decent recipes and tips. BYO tends to have alot of DIY projects. They both are decent mags in my opinion.

BYO is a bit more fun IMO. Zymurgy is more event and science based. I'd recommend both! It's really only one subscription really, seeing how Zymurgy is free with your paid dues to the AHBA (which is your moral duty, right?)
