I'm looking to do some reading to edumacate myself a bit on hop types, what to look for when selecting hops for recipes, etc. seems like there are a lot of options when i look online... Does anyone have one or two they like in particular? Thanks!!

I've not read it, but this is newly published http://www.amazon.com/For-The-Love-H.../dp/1938469011 I've read one of the author's other books, on Belgian beers, and he's a good writer.

The book pappers mentions is well worth the money. Mix of useful brewing info and tons of random hops knowledge. The variety description section is handy reference. I really enjoy the limited info on how hops and yeast interact. There is so much about it that isn't understood.
