Default Carbonation troubles.

I kegged my first all grain Homebrew last Saturday. I hooked up the co2 and burped the keg a few times to remove any oxygen. I then set the regulator at 20 psi and left it.(no shaking or rolling the keg). I have taken a couple samples and it still doesn't seem to be at the right carbonation. Should I just leave it for a longer period of time. Any tips?

Do you have it in a cold environment or out in the open?

I do the same and it always takes a least two weeks to carb up, in the kegerator.

Two weeks chilled at 20 pounds is a recipe for overcarbed beer.

Unless your beer is a style that serves at over 3 volumes?

+1 on time. It'll get there and then some. Yeah, I'd back off the pressure some too. If you're in a hurry (party looming) then shake it a few times to get the CO2 into solution. When it comes to beer, we're always in a hurry - go figure!

I missed that, I usually set it at 12-15
