Default Deep Wood Brew Products "We Now Have A Gas Post Cap for our Stainless Steel Growlers"

We finally have finished production of our ball lock gas post cap. This cap can be used for either one of our stainless steel growlers. Now you can fill our growler with your favorite brew and hit it with a lill CO2. Thank you for your patience!! Just head to our site and look under growlers for more info.

This is a pretty cool idea... is there a pressure relief valve so that you can burp the growler the same way you would a keg to get the oxygen out of the headspace? or is it intended to be used by capping on foam then charging the growler?

Wow, that is really awesome. So once you charge the growler can you safely remove the ball-valve part or does the whole thing just stay on top of the growler?

In looking at the photos, it looks like there isn't a bleeder, but that you can unscrew it a bit to break the seal and purge that way. Interesting idea!

And I'm guessing they tested it so that someone won't unscrew the lid, get smacked in the face and sue the pi$$ out of them.

There is no pressure relief valve due to limited space. We recommend after you pressurize the growler simply unscrew the cap slowly to let the CO2 escape or press the center of the ball valve down. This will release the pressure as well.

Can't say, because I block google-analytics and the page will not render.
