Is there anyway to entirely remove sediment and improve clarity? I've tried screen colinders even coffee filters...

The only way to have commercial style beer would be to keg then plate filter then bottle from the keg

Before investing too much in mechanical means, try whirlfloc tabs, most of us love 'em.

Time will do wonders for clarity. Even my wheat beers turn out clear in the bottles.

Yup, just be patient! give it time and it will settle out, or you can try some gelatin to clarify it.

Are you saying you use coffee filters before fermentation? That may remove trub, but whether or not that helps final clarity is a completely different question.


Using coffee filter after fermentation sounds like a great way to oxidize your beer. Nobody does this.

Patience is the best answer, followed by gelatin plus patience.

Yea, I felt ridiculous when I was trying the coffee filter...

Time is definetly the best filter, I just kegged a nut brown ale like 2 weeks later than suggested in the recipe and viola...like no sediment excellent clarity
