I know they exist, http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDeta...8057077/762937 , this one would be perfect if I had a giant pot.

I want a circular element like the following link. I cant tell if this is stainless, I dont think it is. (Frigidaire costumer support was no good.)
http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDeta...475598/1565371

Any ideas would be helpful, unfortunately the elements dont seem to be listed by their spec's, they are just listed by serial number as replacement parts. I spent two hours searching, hopefully there are others with greater googling powers than I...

I need a circular element that is less than 18" in diameter, or a rectangular element that is less than 13" on a side.

Thanks,

David

Maybe post this in an appliance repair forum?

I don't see any of them spec the wattage so that could be a problem.

Most dishwashers require a 15A circuit and run at 120V. So what does that tell you about the heating capacity of such element?

I'd say 1200W, max.

This may not help at all, but a friend of mine sells for a company called watlow and I know they make many different kinds of circular shaped heating elements in several different materials. Check them out and see if anything works.

Thanks for the info everyone. It looks like I may get an element custom made or get a bendable one to use for my application.

The Watlow site is interesting and a good point was made about power ratings on these stock elements.
