Default Extract American Stout with Small Partial Mash

I'm an extract brewer. I've steeped a lot but thought I'd try a pm with some Honey malt. From what I understand, it has enough diastatic power to self-convert but I don't know how much difference it will make in the final outcome of the beer. Here's the recipe, any comments would be welcome:

This is for a 2.8 gallon batch with a 2 gallon boil.

3lbs. Dark DME (non-negotiable because I've already got it) 80% at flame out.
.25lbs. Roasted Barley
.25lbs. Chocolate Malt
.25lbs. Coffee Malt
.25lbs. Special B
.5lbs. Honey Malt (mashed)
.25lbs. Carmelized sugar at flame out

.5oz. Magnum (first wort)
.5oz. Northern Brewer(30min)
.5oz. Willamette(2min)

Looks good to me. I add some 2 or 6 row just to be sure. The partial mashes I've tried seem to taste better and I feel like more of a brewer when I do them.

Try adding a half pound of 2-row to the grains & mash them together @ about 152F for 1 hour. They say the honey malt is def better mashed. I want to try that myself in my light hybrid lager for a cream ale of sorts.
