I know nobody finds out if they make it to the second round until May but has anyone received their as score sheets from the first round who enter in the Kansas City location?

They said on the website that they won't release anything until all the sites have completed their judging and by May 4th, the individal scoresheets will be made available for download.

From the Site...

"First Round Winners

Winners of the First Round Judging Centers will be reported once all 11 locations have completed judging and submitted the results to the National Homebrew Competition Director. By May 4, 2013 winners will be posted and competition entrants will be able to access full results via the online database used for registration.

Please do not contact site directors requesting results, as they are not permitted to release this information until the AHA has published all winners from all 11 judging centers. Thank you for your patience and cooperation"

It says that on all the log in sites - including the Seattle site where they posted final results for a time, as well as mailed out scoresheets.

I did see a post where someone said they had gotten their scoresheet from KC.... but, that was the only posted I noticed stating that.

Mine were at St. Paul. Have not received anything at this point.

I was on vacation last Thursday through Saturday and when I arrived home yesterday, my score sheets had arrived. I posted a bit more detail in this thread:

Cheers, and good luck!

I got a 27 on a spiced cherry dubbel in category 20A, and a 39 on a bourbon vanilla porter in category 23A. Decent score on the porter but I doubt I moved on since 23A is a well populated category, but it was great to get feedback.

Great news. Maybe a silly question, did you receive your score sheets via email or regular mail? I haven't seen anything on my email but I haven't checked my regular mail since like last Wednesday. Can't check it now since I'm at work (lunch hour). Thanks

I got my sheets back, also. I have a question though. Several of my beers scored in the 40's and went to a Mini Best in show round.

So if if says that your beer went to a mini best in show round but you didn't place, does that mean that you didn't place anywhere in that category?

I also had a couple of beers place 2nd in a Mini Best of Show. So does that mean I took second in that category??
