Followup to my unanswered Quilmes/Iron City post; They both have similar BeerAdvocate descriptions of strong corn smell and taste with a metallic twang. So yes, I think my memory of Iron City is correct.
What would give these brews a metallic twang?
My guess is water. Y'all's better speculations are?....
