Hey, so I've got a Turkey Fryer...and I've got a NG outlet in my garage.

Is there anywayy to run the turkey fryer with the house's gas? That way I wouldn't have to worry about running out of gas...

Oh, and can it be cheap?

THANKS

you have to replace the burner. NG burns much hotter, combusts differently, and thus uses a different size hole in each burner.

propane is a liquid, and the regulator lets it vent into gas by the time it reaches your burner, but NG is a gas.

its doable, but probably about as cheap as buying an NG burner setup vs. converting.

No, a turkey fryer runs at 15-20 psi. Your NG is probably 10-12 inches. So, you'll have less than 1/10th the heat.

Search the net, it can been done. The main part of doing the conversion is enlarging the orifice on the burner.
