Which kind of keg?

A corny keg might go for around $50. A little more, a little less.

A 15.5 beer keg varies by seller and legality. I'd estimate $40-50 or so.

restored corny kegs are about 50 or 60 bucks and are just gonna get more expensive as time goes on because they are becoming more rare.

Grey market kegs run about $40-50 while actual decommissioned ones are about $100

If your 1/2bbl keg is less than a hundred bucks, it's stolen. Someone bought a keg of beer and kept it for the price of the security deposit. This costs brewers money.

After looking around 50 bucks is pretty much going price at any local water hole..... But my deposit would be 90 if I just didn't return one ...
