I found out on Monday that my Long Haul IPA finished 1st in category at the Schooner Home Brew Competition at the Great Lakes Brew Fest this past Saturday. I have been waiting to post until I got my judges sheet, but it hasn't come in the mail yet. I just couldn't wait any longer.

The owner of my LHBS was on of the judges. He told me he thought I should have won best overall. I don't have any idea hoe they decide such things, but it was a nice compliment.

I put the recipe in the database.

That batch is gone. But I do have two kegs of the sequel.

I should be home about 10:00
