8oz honey malt
8oz crystal 20L
Mashed at 150F for 60 minutes, then sparged at 175F until ~6.5 gallons of wort is collected.
1oz Belma Pellet (11.3% A.A)- FWH
1oz Amarillo Pellet (8.7% A.A.)- 10min
1oz Citra Pellet (14.1% A.A.) - 5min
1oz Amarillo Whole (10.6% A.A.)- 1min
1oz Citra Whole (15.6% A.A.) - Flameout- cool to 170F, add hops, rest 15 min
Added wort chiller, 1tsp yeast nutrient, and 1 whirlfoc tab at 15 minutes.
Cooled to 60F. Aerated with 60 second Blast of O2 through stainless aeration stone.
Pitched one rehydrated pack of US-05 dry yeast.
After about 14 days, took gravity measurement then racked into secondary with 1oz of Citra whole hops. Dryhop for 10-14days.
Tasting notes: Extremely drinkable, smooth bitterness, huge hop aroma and flavor- passionfruit, citrus. Lots of lacing on the glass.
