Hey, being from Canada and all I'm unable to find any 60 minute or 90 minute dogfish head IPA's. But, the way everyone keeps raving about them, I have to try it. Does anyone have any idea where I could find an extract clone? I can't do AG, and that seems to be all I can find.

Well, it's very easy to convert AG to extract especially since DFH isn't really about the malt anyway. A plain light DME would work just fine. Let me know if you have a specific recipe you want to convert, although I am partial to mine!

I did the DFH 90 out of the BYO clone issue... My LHBS converted it to extract for me, and it turned out damn good IMO!!!

Edit: I'm an idiot and didn't see that this was posted in the extract sub forum. Replace the grains w/ 9.5# pale LME. /Edit

I could have sworn I read an article that stated they used a combo of Warrior, Simcoe & Amarillo during the boil. Here is a 90min Clone from Zymurgy

DFH 90 Minute IPA Clone
5gallon batch

16# Pale 2-row
1#Munich

Mix 2.5oz Amarillo pellet hops (8% AA) & .75oz Simcoe pellet hops (13% AA) & .5oz Warrior pellet hops (15% AA) together.

Weigh out .2oz (5.6grams) and add every 5mins for the duration of the 90min boil.

Dry hop for at least 1week w/ 1oz Amarillo leaf ((8% AA) , .5oz Simcoe leaf (13% AA) and .5oz Glacier leaf (5.8% AA)

Wyeast 1056 American Ale yest

Target OG: 1.086
Target FG: 1.016
ABV: 9.0%
IBUs: 90
Boil time: 90 minutes

Mash @ 150deg for 60mins.
Ferment @ 72deg until gravity reachs terminal.
