I recently had a beer tasting party and the winner was Tank 7. It is certainly one of my favorite beers. I thought I'd try to make something similar. Here's what I tried, based on any other threads I could find about this beer:

10 lbs. 2 row
1 lbs. Vienna (I added this just to see what happened)
3 lbs. flaked corn
2 lbs. colorado white wheat
.2 lbs. acidulated malt

Mashed at 150

Hops:
.25 Magnum for 55 minutes
.25 simcoe for 20 minutes
the rest of my Amarillo (2.5 oz?) for 5 mins.

I decided to try WLP670, as I wouldn't mind a little sour funk, and the guy at the homebrew shop seemed to think this would come closest to the yeast they used, plus the funky Tank 7 effects....

My OG came out to 1.078, so right on what I'd hoped! Hoping this comes out tasty. Any thoughts are welcome.

Already tastes awesome in my hydro sample, only a week old, though obviously needs to mature, attenuate, and get more sour!. It seems to have stalled temporarily at around 1.026. It seems like this may be fairly normal for this yeast though? I started it around 70 degrees, and have ramped it up to more like 78 over the week. My plan was to leave it like this for the next 2-6 weeks and see what happens. I'm open to different ideas though. Cheers.

Did you search for other tank 7 threads? Longish one on here with a number of other attempts.

There is a pretty lengthy thread already on this.....In the thread someone posted Boulevards Grain grist and hop schedule straight from the Head Brewmaster of Boulevard....you are pretty much right on based on their numbers....Here is my recipe based exactly on their numbers

Here is my attempt recipe at this clone based on the numbers I've seen

HOME BREW RECIPE:
Title: Tank 7 Clone

Brew Method: All Grain
Style Name: Saison
Boil Time: 60 min
Batch Size: 5.5 gallons (fermentor volume)
Boil Size: 7.5 gallons
Efficiency: 70% (brew house)

STATS:
Original Gravity: 1.074
Final Gravity: 1.016
ABV (standard): 7.56%
IBU (tinseth): 37.25
SRM (morey): 6.27

FERMENTABLES:
12 lb - Pale Ale (77.9%)
3 lb - Flaked Corn (19.5%)
0.4 lb - White Wheat (2.6%)

HOPS:
0.2 oz - Magnum (AA 15) for 60 min, Type: Leaf/Whole, Use: Boil
0.21 oz - Simcoe (AA 12.7) for 45 min, Type: Leaf/Whole, Use: Boil
4 oz - Amarillo (AA 8.6) for 5 min, Type: Leaf/Whole, Use: Boil
2oz dry hop Amarillo

MASH STEPS:
1) Sparge, Temp: 152 F, Time: 60 min

This is a huge hit....I would say mine is a little sweeter than the original....thinking a littl magnum for bittering next time....and try some of the yeast out there

This is what I love about farmhouse beers. That's a lot of flaked maize--especially given that most of us at one time probably scoffed at BMC beers for using corn. But in a farmhouse beer? Hey, throw it in, that's being creative!

BMC is mostly rice not corn
