Default Can I use gelatin in the keg?

Hey guys, I tried to look for a conclusive thread on here but couldnt find one. I am wondering if I can rack my beer from the primary into a keg, add gelatin, put keg in the kegerator for 2 weeks before serving, and then be able to drink from this same keg without having bits of gelatin wind up in every pint? I just dont want to have to crash cool my carboys because of the suck-back factor. I would much rather crash cool in the keg since it is not an issue. Any insight would be very much appreciated!

Yes, the first couple of pints will be "chunky", but after that you should be fine.

You can easily eliminate the suckback factor by covering the tops of your carboys with sanitized aluminum foil. Easy fix.

Wouldnt it be bad to take out the airlock and allow air to get in post fermentation? I would imagine that oxidation/infection risks go way up.
